“Resurrection” was framed and hung with an exhibit of sculpture and pottery in the Boarman Arts Center, Martinsburg, WV May 9, 1992, to May 31, 1992.

At midnight
in a rented room
on the wrong side of town.

an old man coughs
and wakes, coughing
gets out of bed, slowly,

and with a hand that trembles,
lights a lamp on a table,
picks up a pencil

and a sheet of paper,
and starts to
set down
his whole life story.
